The percentage of people who identify as European in the United States varies by state. Utah has the highest percentage at 4.82%, followed by Oregon at 3.81% and Washington at 3.22%. On the other hand, Rhode Island has the lowest percentage at 0.78%, followed by New Jersey at 0.86% and North Dakota at 0.92%. Despite having a lower percentage of people identifying as European, larger states such as California and Texas have a significant number of European individuals, with 741,319 and 410,627 Europeans, respectively.
